Welcome to 2013!
Welcome back to school Lions! We have survived our first week of school in 2013!
January is already proving to be a busy month. Over the past few and next few days our Grade 12 students will be having their Graduation photos taken at Artona, and for these lucky individuals its starting to sink in that they only have 6 more months of high school left. In a few weeks we will be having Grad Week, celebrating the achievements of our oldest students. Grad Bowling, Grad Breakfast and the annual Grad Auction are just some of the activities to name a few. A quick reminder to grads, if you have not paid your Grad fees yet, please do so online or to Ms Barr in the office. We also would like to wish good luck to all those who will be writing mid-year exams in the next few weeks… study hard and you will do well! Also good luck to those taking provincial exams at the end of this month, specifically the AP English 12 students. In just a few short weeks, we will be in the middle of February and whats that will be upon us? Oh yeah, thats right. DANCING WITH THE TEACHERS! This has become a tradition at Mountain, one that always brings enthusiasm and good times to the gym at lunch. Friday February 15th is the day, and talk to Mr Rolph or any one of the Student Council members if you and a teacher are interested in participating.
